Bio

"My counselling practice covers both adult, children and young people. After many years working in educational settings, I have built up extensive experience supporting both children and parents and have a particular interest in supporting improved communication within the family. Working in a FE and HE college setting, as well as in private practice, I deliver both CBT and Person-Centred therapy approaches to support clients, and offer sessions online and over the telephone. Additionally, I am a qualified coach/mentor and can offer a solution focused integrative approach to work related, as well as personal life issues. I have worked within the construction industry for the past 6 years, and as a result have extensive experience of working to support men's mental health and knowledge of the impact of suicide and confidence to support with suicidal ideation. I am passionate about supporting people to improve their mental health and wellbeing and deliver Mental health First Aid courses to both colleagues, students and the general public. I look forward to meeting you, offering a non judgmental, safe space, where we can work together on whatever you need to discuss. The first session is free of charge, so please get in touch if you would like to book or have any questions. "
