"I’m passionate about therapy because at the young age of 17 I was sectioned and hospitalised with psychosis and was in a very dark place. There, I was given drugs by the psychiatrist , but other than a chat with a psychiatric nurse, no-one talked to me about how I was feeling. I realised that this need to talk with someone else was probably being experienced with all of the other patients on the ward.At the age of 21 I signed up and worked with The Samaritans , helping people all over the UK suffering negative thoughts, some with Suicidal impulses. Later I had some other trauma’s in my life . I was attacked with a knife, and also had an industrial accident which nearly killed me. I chose to study while off work and gained my Counselling Diploma followed by a Psychology Degree. I have helped many people to heal themselves emotionally, psychologically, and spiritually. I guess having gone through what I’ve been through, I have a firm faith in peoples ability to bounce back.I’m passionate about people and our wonderful ability to heal, and I’ve helped many individuals and groups over the years to make positive lasting life changes. My expertise include helping with trauma; bereavement, relationships, anxiety, addiction, PTSD, Victimisation; anger; spirituality; abandonment; motivation; self esteem; "
