"We sometimes feel stuck. One can feel overwhelmed, depressed, anxious due to challenges that arise in our lives. Taking care of our mental well being has never been as important as today to enable us be more resilient, make better choices, and most of all embrace and enjoy what the day can bring, despite the context of great uncertainty I strongly believe that we all have inner resources to cope and often change how we feel when faced by difficulties in our daily lives or at work, in the short and long term. As a therapist I see my role as working with you to uncover and use these resources to become your own therapist. Building on my life experiences in the last few years; I have become passionate about helping others cope better with the pressures of daily life as well as with significant negative events by sharing, life changing skills that therapy can provide. I practice Rational Emotive Behavioural Therapy, a Cognitive Behavioural Therapy. This is a goal focused therapy which can with many different issues, such as anxiety, and anxiety related disorders, depression, anger management, low self-esteem at work or in daily life. On the premise that the way we think, how we behave and how we feel are intricately linked; I provide a compassionate, non- judgmental, safe and confidential place to work together to explore, understand, challenge how you think and progressively change how you feel about situations yourself, others, or the world. Life is like a game of cards. It’s not so much the cards you are dealt that are important but how you choose to play them. Windy Dryden "
