Bio

"I specialise in helping people to achieve self-acceptance. This might be something you struggle with as a result of anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, bullying, abuse, or being a highly sensitive person (HSP) or autistic person in a neuro-typical world. You may also be experiencing guilt and shame as a result of trauma and addiction. Whatever your issue please get in touch and if I feel that I can not personally help you then I will point you in the direction of someone who can. My qualification is in pluralistic counselling which means that it is guided by the needs of each individual client and is led by your wishes. It can include a pure person-centred approach, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) or psychodynamic approaches if this is what you feel you want or need. We will work together to decide what approach would be best for you as an individual. Each of these terms and approaches is explained on my website - www.rebeccaclarkcounselling.co.uk. I know it can be difficult to decide whether counselling or a particular counsellor is right for you so I am offering a free 20-minute call (phone or Zoom). There will be no obligation or pressure to book further sessions. Sessions are held on Zoom. I promise you a trained listening ear, a non-judgemental approach and someone to stand alongside you as you move towards your goals. "
