"Are you feeling stressed, anxious or sad? Struggling with low self-esteem, depression or relationship difficulties? With all the change in the world at the moment, it’s understandable that you may be feeling overwhelmed and uncertain.Worries can take over and lead to negative thoughts patterns, which in turn can negatively effect our behaviour and impact relationships with loved ones or our performance at work.Talking to someone can really help you to gain valuable perspective and find a new way forward to reaching your goals. The best thing about counselling is that it’s completely confidential and nothing you say is silly.I am an experienced and fully qualified psychotherapist and counsellor, with an AIM level 5 Professional Diploma in Psychotherapeutic Counselling. I am a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and work within their strict ethical framework.I work with adults of all ages, with a range of issues including stress, anxiety, bereavement and loss, depression, family issues and relationship problems.I provide a safe, non judgmental space, where we can discuss what is holding you back and find a way forward, at your pace and towards your desired goals.I work using the Person Centred Approach, but can draw on other skills such as CBT and psychoanalysis, taking the approach that is most beneficial to the client at that time.I work in a positive and accepting way, which allows you to gain new understanding and insight into your issues.Seeing things in a more balanced way will allow you to create positive change and to find resolutions to the challenges facing you.To get started please get in touch."
